About my work in general: My etchings often examine cities and people in cities. These are generally places I have lived including New York, Germany and San Francisco. I have been influenced by Ruysdael, Jaques Callot, other artists of the 18th Century, and Japanese prints among other things. To collect information for my prints I make drawings on the street and in public places such as hotels.

Objects to Reduce Anxiety: The goal of the series: Objects to Reduce Anxiety, is to create art which gives the viewer a sense of power, control, and security – even if it only exists in our imaginations. Who can say how much we could all accomplish if we could just calm down.

Lying Around Charisma: The Series: Lying Around Charisma – entertaining useful ideas while lying down, following up, making things happen. These etchings use chairs, boxes or chests, combining them with elemental forces such as storms and explosions.
